Uluwatu is a region on the south-western tip of the Bukit Peninsula of Bali. I've stayed there in various Hotels quite a bit over the years. The streets aren't as crowded and the beaches are more pristine.
As with most places in the tropics it's incredibly fertile. You feel like you could throw a rock in the soil and it would grow.
Unlike the Australian native Flora, Bali is full of colour so it's always a pleasure to wake early and have wander through any of the beautiful gardens or jungle and see what awaits.
